Anybody ever heard of this brand of mc/ATV tire chock? Recently bought one, planning on installing it on my little trailer so I can, uh, trailer the bike. I know, I know... but sometimes my wife wants to tour by car while I ride the bike; this seems like a good compromise. It's going to get us to STC II, so I can't complain.
Anyway, curious if you have seen, heard of, or used this product. It's pretty small, limited functionality, and appears to be intended as a "stop the bike from rolling forward" device, not something that could hold it upright on its own while you tie it down.

Yup. Used it in the trailer hauling an LT and RT to Wyoming. We installed the ones that you can remove but leave the mounting plates.

Should I be concerned that isn't nearly as big/beefy/full-featured as a Condor chock, LA chock, etc.? It's basically a wheel "immobilizer" as opposed to a full-blown chock.
Also: I tried to correct the spelling of my thread title but it didn't take. The actual brand name is "Pingel".

No concern as long as you tie down the bike properly. Use 4 point tie down at a minimum. Two front and two back. Use quality tie downs and double check everything. Then about 10 -20 miles in your trip. Go back and check the tie downs again. That should do it.

Every time I do, even using the massive ratcheting straps used on the tractor, they always stretch. Good idea to stop after a few miles and check/tighten as necessary.

Corrected the title for you. Thanks! I tried to, but it didn't work for some reason. Operator error, most likely. :o

I believe only Admin or moderators can change the title thread after a while.

I purchased one and had it in a closed trailer I had. When I put the LT in the trailer, I didn't like the way it fit. Sold trailer and chock. The one I had came from JC Whitney, it was purchased back in 1995 for about $40.00.
I think the pingel is much more.
I now have a RAZOR Trailer.

Guys, I just returned from a trip using a new set of trailer stops by Condor.. I also have used the "Pingel" stops and have mounts in my enclosed trailer, but with the pingel the bike is just pushed into the stop and can move around a bunch.. also there are 3 width's to deal with as you go to a wide front tire which can be a hassle (Was for me). I store the set I have in the garage.
The new stops I am now using are amazing! you drive the bike onto the stop and it captures the tire and you can simply climb off! You then tie the bike down properly and you are on the way.. The stop is held on the trailer by a small almost flush bracket when not in use, that costs $20 for an extra bracket if needed. The stop fits from the smallest tire to a 200 by simply adjusting the overcenter pin, with a quick clip.
The Condor stop costs a bit more but more than makes up with it's utility, you can also place in the garage and dock a bike that does not have a centerstand, allowing you to clean, service and maintain the bike easily.

I am using the pitstop version of the stops they offer. these things fold almost flat for storage as well.
For the trip I had 3 motorcycles in my trailer for the trip.. a 87' FLH, 04' R1200CLC, and my LT!!! all fit into their respective stop EASILY.
