Hi Ya'll, been some time I viewed this sight.. but just put on new tires and am planning a ride to brake them in, So I will be riding to Grayling Mi. to a little place called, Spikes Keg of Nails for a burger & a beer, if anybody wants to come along for a ride are welcome.
It does not matter if it's Sat or Sunday, so if anybody want to ride along we can pick the day that the majority can ride
for any that may be coming from the west side of the state we can meet up in Clare around US 10 and 27

Did some checking on mileage and here is what the GPS came up with... Leaving from the E side of the state Auburn Hills at I 75 you’re looking at 175 miles if you leave from Battle Creek I94 & 69 you’re looking at 197 mi. not too far from wherever you leave. Round trip under 400 miles from those starting points.

Man, Gary, I haven't been to Spike's in a looooooonnnnnggggggggg time. Used to go there while at AT with the Guard. There and the Red Barn. Makes my head hurt just remembering.
I'd like to go but I'll be in uniform this weekend. I'll be on Tarkus but going to Grand Ledge both Saturday and Sunday. Hope you have a good ride and a great burger.

The Wilbers went on fine. Paul and David were great help. Took less than 2 hours, but then, I'd already removed the plastic and tank. What a diffence in the ride. I'm starting to get my confidence in the corners back. I'll never let my shocks go that long again. (43K+)

Hey gary - Good to see your back on the site. I didn't see this message until this morning. I rode a bunch this weekend. I too was scrubbing in new tires. Let's get together soon and ride. Who are you riding the Cape Fear with?
I rode along with a Harley guy yesterday, and he was telling me about a place called "Bull Frogs" or something like that in Brandon, MI on M15. He says a bunch of bikers meet there on Sunday mornings for breakfast. I think we should get a few people together for that, and then ride somewhere from there.
Talk to you soon...
