Any recomendations on a Radar Detector mounting for the K1200LT?
I know that Saeng has one, but is there any other options available?

I'm looking for one to a future Valentine I'm planning to buy.

This is what I am using on a RAM ball on the brake master cylinder:

I keep a zip lock bag for rain encounters--usually I just pull the detector off the pad and shove it in my pocket. The nice thing about the magnetic pad is that you can remove it with one hand. I have never had any issues keeping it on the bike, the magnet is very secure--you have to twist the detector off.

There is also the accessory arm (http://www.bmrproducts.com/products.php?cat=1) for the BMR shelf, providing you are using the shelf.

I second the BMR product line. The mounting is easy, solid and looks good. I like the fact that the co-pilot also provides shade for my dash during full sun.

As meantioned, The co-pilot has side arms of different sizes and also a side are designed just for radar devices by providing three sided coverage without blocking the front.

Note: This cover is not just for the Valentine.
