That was one heck of a ride, Dan! Glad you didn't get caught in really bad storms that were lurking before and after.

Pete - you don't know the half of it! There were scary, really scary storms along my entire rouate just before & after my route down and just after my route back. Go figure. I'd like to say that the 376c helped me avoid all that stuff, but what it really did was to calm my nerves with XM and let me know what I would have gotten the day before and what I was gonna get the day after.

It really is an amazing device & has saved my ass from weather on prior trips.

The thing that really made the difference on this trip was the "Visual Alert" from Marc Parnes. Gave me *huge* prior notice on ever radar alert and saved me at least a thousand bucks in tickets.

Here's what I had to say to Marc:

Marc – thanks again for getting this out so fast. It saved me at least a grand in tickets on my recent cross-country trip. Not that I speed all that much, but the VA did a superb job to helping me realize what a great radar detector I have in the V1. I lost count of the number of times I had plenty of warning to ensure I was riding within speed limits – all thanks to your Visual Alert. Count me as a very satisfied customer. I feel like I should buy you lunch or something – your great implementation of this idea saved me major bucks.
