What happened to the "view first unread" or can I rig to go to 1st unread automatically like the old board?

Also in threads, the old board showed who you were responding to at the top.. how about now?

You can select various options from the New Activity menu.

I am unfamiliar with the old site's "go to first unread post" feature.

Instead of clicking on the title of the thread, click on the little check mark just to the left of the title. This will take you to the first unread post. Or, it you have already opened the thread, there is a box on the top left that will take you to the first unread post.
