Hey All;
I'm not sure if you all know but my wife and I have been transferred to Florida for my work. Well since Sept. I have been flying back and forth to Chicago and the company as picked up the tab,car, food all of it. Good deal.
Then they got me an apartment,GREAT, but i lost the car and the food deal. So I flew back last friday and brought the K12 back. Ok now the story. I left Chicago Sat. morning 34 deg. Sunny ok not so bad I thought. Then I hit Indiana and the clouds.The temp got to 45 and STUCK there for 800 miles just south of Atlanta.(stayed the night). A little snow,a little sleet,a little rain,oh yippie. Now understand I like riding in the cool weather and have driven down to 10. But come on. First of all I have almost no seat time from oct to now,when usually I ride thru december. Bad Idea. The bike was great and the butt is good, but alittle much for no seat time. Now I'm in atlanta, wake up, leave at 6 and it's 30 out. Its almost April and Its 30 which is colder than Chicago,whats up with that? But it was sunny. I watched the temp guage and waited and waited and waited. Finally 1100 miles from chicago it got to 50. The rest of the trip was great,in fact the whole trip was great. I have stich and all the heated vests but still a little chilly after 12 hrs of riding.
Now I'm here in Ft Lauderdale at my almost permanent home enjoying everyday on the best bike I had in 35 years of seat time. Hope you enjoy my bike as much I love it and my Wife.
