I just got to go for my first ride after having my seat re-padded and recovered by KonTour. Boy, is my butt happy. I can't feel the seat pan under my legs because of the firmer padding and the shape of the seat is better shaped. Even in cool weather (I'm in Michigan) I can tell the new seat cover material is better ventilated. Hopefully no more monkey butt due to Michigan humidity. I got the tall option so my riding position is a little higher (better leg extension, fewer hip cramps) but not so high that I'm above the sweet position for the windshield. The only caution if you are considering this seat is that it is further to the pavement when stopped. With the stock seat I can put both heels on the ground, With the KonTour there is about an inch of clearance under my heels. Not a problem for me with a 32 inch inseam,but something to consider if your inseam is less than 30 inches.
