Whats the average mileage for the oil change..... both oil and filter change ???

I like to change the dino oil every 3k though

I was educated by this forum here that 6.000 miles is the number. I'm using synte. since 12K miles on my bike and I also change the rear end with the engine.
Transmission every 12k.

BMW specifies 6K oil change intervals. Anything more often is unnecessary. Some people use synthetic and extend to 10K or 12K miles.
