I don't know if this is German or Dutch, but it's still an interesting video to watch.

I think the new GT is going to be the best 1-up sport-tourer that BMW has ever produced. I'm very excited for all of you who have one on order. Can't wait to hear the 'real world' reviews. :)

I'm sure I would love one from the engineering standpoint, but still do not like those two barn doors bolted on the sides. :(

Wonder how long before someone comes out with fake vents or something to break up all that flat area.

I'm excited about the bike too, but can't afford to buy it new; going to have to wait on the used market. Waiting for some real world reviews too Joe.

You want to break up those barn door sides? Just paint a big map on them, then document all the places you've been, or are planning to go. Works for me. :)

Everyone who has seen it in person tells me that it is just short of beautiful. Sorta like Joe. LOL!!!

That is what I think. The LT is beautiful, the GT is short of that. :D :D

Looks like Dutch and sounds like Dutch, but what do I know? Just doesn't look or souind like German... Also, towards the end of the video where they are riding, they pass a Dutch-style windmill...

Interesting to hear the English phrases in their discussion. I blipped through the video, and heard "Gran Turismo", "power surge", "machine", "ergonomic", "swing arm", and "ABS".
The looks are kind of growing on me.

I didn't catch to much of what the two riders were saying but the GT was speaking loud and clear! It sure sounded good to me! I can't wait to see and hear it in person.

Dave,

My thoughts were the same on the "barn doors" until I saw it in person. The bike really looks very much better in person, than in any pictures that I have seen.

1- Will you ever be able to add J-pegs to stretch out them cramped legs on a long road trip?

2- Will you be able to add all of the Farkles we take for granted now?

The motor and handling are sweet but until these two things happen I am very happy where I am sitted at the moment.

1- Will you ever be able to add J-pegs to stretch out them cramped legs on a long road trip?

no, but the bike is high enough to let your feet dangle quite nicely.

2- Will you be able to add all of the Farkles we take for granted now?

Yes. Working on that right now.
