I have an Adventure. I'd like to swap out for a standard split seat with somebody. Mine is the black and yellow. The swap involves changing the luggage racks and latches as well as a few other bits. I think it would take about an hour if the bikes were side by side.
I don't care what color yours are as they will be going to Rick Mayer for a rebuild.
Ideally I'd like to find some one in the Southwest a days ride or less from San Diego. I figure we could ride to meet and do the swap in some gas station or park. That way neither bike is down for long and no parts go missing!
If no one local is up for this then I'd do a shipping thing.
