Ok we have decided to fly to Great Falls, Mt and rent a bike there. We will have 5 days to ride and I know I want to see Yellowstone and Glacier NP. Anyone got any great routes out there that would encompass those areas. Or does anyone just have any good advice for us. We will depart from Great falls and return to Great Falls.

I went few times to that area and have this web site with some pictures/comments.
Since you are going to Glacier Park, I would recommend cross the board and visit Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton. It's only few miles north:

Inside the Yellowstone, worth do the big circle (if the roads are open):

this link is in Portugueses, but you can see pictures.

This one is another trip to GNP:

I'm sure you will have a wonderfull ride :)

89 from Great Falls to Livingston then take it to the north entrance to Yellowstone through Gardiner. Come out at West Yellowstone on 191 back to Bozeman. Find 83 among other routes to make your way back to Whitefish for the east entrance to Glacier. You're gonna love Glacier Park!

Just remember, when the speed limit says 45 in Yellowstone they really mean it. Mr. Ranger Sir will make sure of that. And an adult Buffalo is much bigger than your LT.

Enjoy the trip, and don't forget to say Hi to Yogie and BooBoo.

Try to take in Logans Pass (Going To The Sun Road). It is an incredible ride that I make a point of doing at least once a month during the riding season.

And never, ever pass on a solid line. Don't ask me how I know. ;)

Never forget what one of my friends asked the rather mad but very attractive female ranger that evening:

"Can we pay the fine in installment payments?"

It was the 70's and we were young(er) and somewhat broke in this time period...

There is a Great little public camp ground on the river that is little known but easy to get into on motorcycle just about 10-15 miles outside the East gate of Yellowstone in Newton Wyoming!!

I highly recommend it as this is where I stay when heading thru to Sturgis on MC.

212 takes you to Custer Battlefield. Going to the Sun highway is unbelievable, the Bear Tooth highway is great. Red Lodge is a nice town. Chief Joseph highway is gerat. Check highway conditions often, things change regularly. Yellowstone Park is great, Bufffalo will crush you like a bug, they are quick. Stay away from their young! Watch for wildlife early morning and dusk. Elk aways have the right-of-way. Have a great trip.
