We live near Grand Rapids, but we ride up to TC fairly often for lunch and/or coffee. We try to get to the bridge and the Tunnel of Trees several times a year.

I live in Pontiac but I would love to hook up with you guys sometime. If you post your rides a few weeks in advance, who knows.

What is "The Tunnel of Trees"? That sounds like something I need to see.

Hi Burt thanks for the reply. I have three daughters living in GR so we are down that way quite often. It would be great to get some bikes together for a weekend ride up north sometime. If you send me your e-mail address we can stay in touch. (rtctcmi@chartermi.net) Rodger Schaap

B-119 south from Cross Village. Its a narrow twisty road. The trees grow together over the road to basically create a tunnel. It runs right along Lake Michigan. Its a nice ride. My avatar is from the Tunnel of Trees.

Hi guys, I live near Jeff in White Lake but spend summers on Black Lake near Onaway. The Tip of the Mit has some of the best roads I've ever ridden. Plan to be in the Mackinaw City area for the Midnight Ride in August, then spend a few days riding the U.P with the wife. Maybe we could all meet for lunch or dinner one day in Mackinaw or Cheboygan.

I just looked it up on Streets and Trips. I will ride it this summer. Maybe we should try to get a few KLT's together and ride that area for a day or two. I wouldn't mind riding up and spending the night. What do you guys think?

I will get all the e-mail addresses together and try and set a ride up. The Midnight Ride may be a good weekend we usually join the group in Gaylord and ride across the bridge for breakfast.

I will keep in touch
