on the forum are a lot of posts of replacing standart shocks, but no posts of replacing only the spring.I changed my showa standart spring for a hyperpro progressiv spring for more stabillity and more comfort .The price for the spring was 100 euro incl. the mounting , i mounted it myself on and the bike (took about 4 hours) and now the bike drives smoother scratch less with bumps and in curves, and now the spring is progressif (more weight the stiffer the shock) no more adjustments :bmw: :bmw:

Welcome, Jan.

That sounds like a good upgrade for a decent price. Do you have details of who makes the shock spring, or where you purchased it?

Saw their dampers and thought it would be less than BMW. NOT. $299 plus $79 for mounting kit. But then what does it cost to rebuild them as I assume they are?
