Engine Number

On Minnesota titles, there is a blank for the Engine Number. The manual says it is located on the lower right of the engine block. Which corner is the lower right, and does the tupperware have to come off to find and read the number? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

Take a little flashlight and look in the hole in the tupperware for the oil sight glass. The engine number is toward the rear in a vertical orientation IIRC.
