I just found out about this today. Click on products, click on v stream windshield.
In theory it sounds interesting for noise reduction. I also like the increased abrasion properties.
Anyone running one yet? I've got a call into my dealer for a price.

Just might be the ticket for even more comfort. But will tax the windshield motor like the larger Cee Bailys shields??

It's also a polycarbonate windshield, which may sooth some of the safety concerns of most after market windshields. That alone may be worth serious consideration.
The K1200LT-specific section (http://shop.ztechnik.com/cgi-bin/ztech/results?search_model=bm-031) of the Ztechnik website lists it at $179.95. No mention of how tall it is. Sound like it could be worth a try.

It states on their web site that it is: 21.5" H X 26.75" W
May we never find the end of the road!

I missed that, thanks. I'd still like to ride behind one, or at least get some first-hand reviews.

It has a nice look to it. If it works as advertised I'd be interested.

Looks kinda nice!!
Specs: Headlight Cutout to Top: 21.50 in. (54.6cm); Width: 26.75 in. (67.9cm)
Description: ZTechnik® revolutionizes windscreen performance. The advanced V-shape and dimensional contours of the VStream® windshields push the wake, typically referred to as the von Karman vortex, out and away more than 4 inches from the side of the rider's helmet. The rider then resides in a quiet and calm air pocket. This improvement is notable for the passenger as well. State-of-the-art Quantum™ coated Lexan® polycarbonate gives VStream windshields outstanding clarity and strength characteristics unmatched by any windshield maker worldwide. This exclusive combination of Quantum and Lexan is 30X more resistant to abrasion than acrylic materials, has better UV life, chemical resistance, and optical definition, and has superior crack and impact resistance.

Mine is in the mail. Ordered it through my dealer in Scottsdale.$161
I wont be needing it for awhile as there is 20" of snow on the ground this AM.
My slightly used 05(200 miles) got an extra 1000 miles the firsr week of ownership with the short 17" screen. It will be fine for the hot months but I and the SO need something more for cold weather riding.
I'll let you guys know.
By the by, which HID kit is the best/easiest install/ cost effective? And where to order it from.

http://www.cqlight.ca/catalog/index.php seems to work best for the money. Mounted mine on top of head light housing inside the nose cone.

Yep, CQLight.ca is what you want. This link (http://www.cqlight.ca/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=32_45&products_id=69) is for the 5000K H7 bulb for the low beam for all LTs. If you want to do the high beam as well, click here (http://www.cqlight.ca/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=33_49&products_id=96) for the 5000K H11 bulb kit for '05-'06 LTs, and click here (http://www.cqlight.ca/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=30_41&products_id=63) for the 5000K H3 bulb for '99-'04 LTs.
If you call them, they can put two different bulbs into one package and save you a few bucks.
