Doug has graciously offered to drive my rig (35' gooseneck sleeper/toy hauler - Motolights' former trailer and truck) to CCR while I attend a wedding in Los Angeles on Sunday before CCR start. Plan is to fly to Atlanta and catch a shuttle or taxi to the Chateau Elan.
I won't be taking my bike. So, there is room for one or two additional bikes in addition to Doug's bike.
Here are some options for anyone interested in having their bike transported.
1) Fly in and ride back
2) Fly in and fly back and get your bike transported both ways.
3) Ride in and fly back.
Obviously I'd like to recoup partial fuel costs. It will be cheaper than having a trucking company do it. One way for my 2000 LT to Georgia was close to $800.00
For one bike, I'll offer round trip for $900 and one way for $500. For two bikes, the prices will be $700 and $450 each. Bike(s) will be securely tied down and held by Baxley wheel chock(s). You can even load it with all your gear and full tank of fuel and we will haul back some of your purchases (if not bulky and we have room).
