Auxillary Fuse Block

Hi Guys,

Trying to get used to the new website, so maybe I missed this but...

I have been looking for the thread relative to a marine grade fuse block that some have installed for auxiliary wiring associated with additional farkles...

Had it book marked under my favorites on the old site, but can no longer find the same.

Anybody have this info?

i have a bluesea fuse block, the question now is 'where to install it'?
seems like room is kinda tight under the seat, but that's where my rat's
nest is right now, so that's where i need it.

i've considered right on top of the battery, attached to the hold-down
bracket. i have a sealed battery, so maintenance isn't such an issue.

the other location that looks good is on the rear fender, right behind the
battery, and then relocate the shock adjuster somewhere else. anyone
got any other options?

Depends where your rat nest is routing the wires to or from.

I have a 6-fuse Blue Sea fuse box just to the right of the windhield support bracket in the cubby hole there and another one over the battery. The one next to the windshiled bracket has all my wiring for the aux lights, GPS, HID low and High beams, Valentine 1 and ground for the Phoenix switches. This cleaned up a lot of wiring under the seat. The one over the battery has one or two items attached to it.

First picture shows the 6-fuse unit. second picture shows my original 12-fuse unit which I replaced with the two 6-fuse units and cleaned the wiring mess.

As you can see from the pictures I had mine on top of the battery, not mounted, just sitting there. I ran all the wires to the front, then back if needed so that the box could just be lifted up if necessary.
