I should be back up at the end of March, and I'll have the bike regardless of the weather forecast. :)

Sounds good to me Ken, It looks like I will be catching up on one of the many projects I have put aside since buying the bike 18 months ago. See you at the end of march.

Brian, sorry I didn't respond earlier, but it has been pretty busy down here too. I did however sneak away from work yesterday for the "long way home" and that really felt great after this miserable weather we have had here!
As soon as I got back to the garage though i immediately drained the gearbox while she was hot and started on my 48K which I have been putting off. So here is a great riding day with the Bike apart in the garage! Oh well, we just decided to go see a movie before its too late: The Worlds Fastest Indian! Then i have all next week to finish up my 48K and Farklizing before maybe hitting the road the week after for Bend/Redmond/ Pendleton! Praying for decent weather!

Sorry I couldn't get out for a ride. I'm really getting the itch for riding, but therapy has to come first. I'm at 85% of full movement right now, so two more weeks and I'll be straddling the LT! :)
I'm thinking of a ride up to Olympia for breakfast, lunch in Forks and dinner at Camp 18 on Hwy 26. I think that would be a great way to break in the butt.
How's April 1st or 2nd sound?

That's right Steve. We only ride the Grand Tour these days. I'm sending off for our books and hoping to chance a check-point or two if they happen to be on the route. The combination of loud pipes and squids has lost some of the joy of the organized rides for us. Have fun on the two-fifty. :)

Thanks. The therapy is great! I'm increasing the range-of-motion by 10% a week and I'm up to 85% right now. The excercises are still painful, but what the heck, I might as well start riding and get the butt in shape. I have a Carlsbad Caverns trip planned for May, a Grand Canyon trip planned for June and WCR on the way back. I got my priorities, you know. ;)

Looks like I'll be up around the 22nd, and for at least a month. Hm, I should send in my GT application as well. Don't know that I'll get all this year, but it'll sure be fun trying. :D
