was looking at the dash and trunk lights can't figure out what middle pos. does? I figured out that the all the way down pos. will have the truck light turn on when the trucks opened. Looked through the manual....obviously didn't find the answer, is it in there?
Thanks,

Bob,
On earlier models the middle switch position does nothing. If I remember from earlier posts the assembly is from BMW autos and was grafted into the LT, so the switch is an oddity. I could be wrong , as I'm going by memory from a long time ago.

Correct, the dash and trunk lights are from other BMW uses, and the third position is not used on the bikes.

On mine the third position kicks the map light on for a few seconds after the key is switched off.

Here (http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/bmwK1200.html) you go. Speed costs money. How fast do you wanna go?
But be warned, they've been promising an upgraded LT clutch "any day" for about four years now. I think it's the same guy who's working on the Kisan tire monitors.

Meese,
This was one of the first sites I found when I got the LT and was pretty excited about it--unfortunately the site hasn't been updated since....
I would definetly drop $4-5000 on a turbo and clutch rather then spending $20,000+ on the new LT when it comes out for just a few horsepower and ?
I'll keep checking the site and maybe someday...I'll get that turbo.
