Hi all,
Was wondering of all the after market seat manufactures do any place the driver farther forward? I feel like it would be more comfortable to be a little more forward than what stock is.
Thanks,
meese

If you get a custom seat made for you, they can move the main seating position forward easily enough. The trick would be how far forward do you want it? Maybe try riding with a bolster and varying the thickness until you get what you want.
Also, is it the overall position you want changed, or just the reach to the handlebars? A seat change will affect both arm and leg reach, and maybe how well you can flat foot the bike at a stop. At least one guy has successfully extended his handlebars about an inch.

Kind of a double edged sword:
We can move you closer by making the lumbar bolster thicker, but then your ischial tuberosities (sitting bones) are going to be moved forward as well into a narrower part of the seat. While width is not the only factor in making a comfortable seat it certainly is something you want to maintain.
We've been messing around with a cnc machined bracket that essentially allows you to move the entire seat forward one inch - but it is not ready for prime time yet - AND there will be a one inch gap between the front and rear seat. We're thinking about a "skirt" to cover the cosmetic issue...and then there's the seat latch problem..

Ron couldn't u make a longer pass. seat? I know driver latch would need to be re-positioned or modified, I haven't given it a good look. I'm sure something could be done, I'll take a look.
