In Transit Motel Recommendation Memphis

Looking for someplace in the Memhis area to spend Monday before and Saturday after CCR. Memphis is about half way on my trip..

I'd certainly entertain meeting others along the line for a little pre/post party.

Anyone have any good recommendations ?

If you don't mind spending a few bucks there's the Peabody downtown. A short walk to Beale Street for a taste of the blus or the Rendezvouz for some of the best ribs on the planet.

Haven't made final plans yet, I'll be coming in from a northerly direction ... however, Memphis is probably a good stop prior to arriving at CCR.
