I guess we've been pretty lucky with the all of thw warm weather we've had this winter. I took the LT out for a ride to Jones Beach yesterday afternoon. I put a quick 100 miles on her before tucking her away for the next month or so.
I HATE SNOW!!!

Just talked with my son in Huntington. You are are getting a bit of weather. He reports about 14" in his front yard. But, with the temps the way they have been for you, that snow will be gone by the week's end. ;)

22 inches and it is still snowing. Glad I got my fix in this past thursday.

And then all of that sand and salt left over from trying to get rid of the white stuff! And then we'll have about a billion and two potholes. Besides being bad for my baby, I hate trying maneuver around them. Unless we have a really strong rain event, my bike won't see the light of day for the remainder of the month.

Oh man!! I forgot about the SAND!! I guess I've been living in the midwest for too long! (since '88)
My first crash, on my trusted R75/5, was on a nice, mild, January evening in Dix Hills in 1976. On a very fast sweeper I went a bit wide and the sand brought me down.
But, I still think you will be back on the bike, merrily riding the Sagtakos down to Robert Moses BEFORE the end of the month. ;)
Let us know how you do!!

With 50F the low water content snow going fast. Wednesday after the 20" storm. Minor sand as my town puts down "Clear Lane" deicer.
