At our recent get together I took a few pictures of the lights hanging of our bikes.
There are many ideas out there.

I'll post some pics next week, once the project is complete. Warning...it's a little scary! :D

Hi Hans,

Here is the Finnish approach...

The pictures are from spring ´05 and since then the high beam has been converted to HID as well. No more "piece of glowing coal in a bottle" -effect...

The lower ones are Hella Micro FF fog lights and the upper ones the same but driving lights. Both halogens.

Regards

Ooops, not an LT, but these lights really got noticed during daytime use. I could not run them at night, unless I was out in the country or on a remote road. Too bright for night-time use around town.. and yes, I miss my GS. Had to let it go earlier this year..

Is is just me, or does that second-to-last picture remind anyone else of Quadrophenia?

That is the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

Well, being Mr. Thrifty, I use some cheap ($30) Pep-boy "driving lights" and mount them down low on the forks for daytime conspicuousness. That is, so that people can see me. :-) They are useless at night, so I also have PIAAs mounted below the headlight for when I want to see where I am going. I put the switch gear in the panel where the OBC display would be if I had the OBC...

This is the same layout that I did on the RT (pictured in the avatar) and it works well for me.

Even in daylight you can certainly see the difference between the lower "cheap" automotive lights and the upper PIAA
nice comparison.

I like the LT badge just above the headlight. Nice touch. :)
