Yessir! . . . our little gathering now has it's very own website. AND, an official new name to boot. What was once called 'LT Spring Training Camp' is now officially renamed 'Spring Training Camp for Riders'. Or you can just call it 'STC for Riders' for short. We decided to drop the "LT" from the name because we don't want any riders feeling excluded just because they don't ride an LT. The Tech Sessions will still remain LT-focused.
So check out the new site here --> http://www.stcforriders.com/ And make sure to keep checking in from time to time for the latest breaking 'STC for Riders' news & information. Also, feel free to PM me with suggestions...just don't get upset if I don't use all of them. :D
A big thanks to Don Norwood for organizing our little gathering in the hills. http://www.bigbikeworld.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif Last year was simply a blast! And this year, my expectations are doubled!
And last but not least . . . a VERY SPECIAL THANKS goes out to forum member 'vstromboli' for working with me over the last past week putting the website together. http://www.sport-touring.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/clap.gif Jacques...you are truly "DA MAN"!!! http://www.bmwlt.net/ubbthreads/images/icons/trophy.gif

Hey, if we keep throwing business at them like this twice a year they may continue to build it out!

Joe and Jaques,
Hats off to a top shelf performance here, guys. This is awsome, and just goes to demonstrate one more time how far out in front of the other regions we seem to be in terms of our level of involvement, commitment and enthusiasm towards our favorite pastime. Not that it is a contest or anything, but you know what I mean. ;)

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I am simply delighted at the work Jacques (vstromboli) did. I organized the info...and let the real artist do the work. I guess that makes me "management material"! :D
I REALLY like the logo!!! Can anyone say..."T-Shirts"?!
I thought you could... ;)

Hey, if we keep throwing business at them like this twice a year they may continue to build it out!
In an email from John Powell tonight, looks like that what going to happen
Email in part:
IH should be open by April 1st and we have made a few additionals to the pavilion like the mezzanine has been finished. We are adding another room in the garage and then preparing 4 Full hook up RV spots for the workampers we have contracted to arrive in April.
We are making plans to build a 5th cabin which is going to be a house with 6-8 bedrooms for larger groups like the LT riders. Hope to have it done by June.
We are in the final stages of drafting the covenants for Thunder Mountain, and we anticipate selling lots for phase 1 in the next 2 months.
Lots of changes this year as we enter the 4th year. Hard to believe.

That's truly exciting news Don. I wish John & Charlene all the success in the world. I just hope that the new additions won't raise the price of that brownie sundae!!! :D
