Motorcycle Races in Daytona????

Anybody going?? I am planning a day trip, to watch the races and going home. Anybody want to ride down and watch the race. Arai 200. Or meet down there or whatever???

When are the races? I was thinking about making a trip to FL to visit the parents. They spend their winters at Southern Dunes in Haines City. Maybe I can time my run South to coincide with Daytona races.

Sorry, just saw the reply. The races are at the International Racetrack in Daytona. It would be the Aria 200, which is usual in the afternoon. But if you get there early you walk and look at all the vendors and the big motorcycle companys or go inside the track and watch a couple of smaller races, like and forgot the names. It is a lot of fun etc..............

Navy has changed my schedule. What was going to be some free time has vanished. Looks like I will be parking the scoots until July.

Here is the race scheduel for Saturday

10:10 a.m. Practice for Daytona 200 by Honda, till 10:40 a.m.; Speedway

11:15 a.m. AMA Superbike Championship presented by Parts Unlimited final (15 laps); Speedway

1:30 p.m. Daytona 200 by Honda opening ceremony and pole award presentation; Speedway

1:45 p.m. Daytona 200 by Honda sighting lap; Speedway

2 p.m. 65th Daytona 200 by Honda, round one of Lockhart Phillips USA Formula Xtreme Series (68 laps); Speedway

Pop Me Some Infor Back Fast, Time's A Wasting, It Will Be Here Before You Know It.
Rode Down In Oct. Got There At About 8:30 At Night, Got A Motel, Got Some Dinner, Rode Around Until About 12:30, Went Back To The Motel, Got Up At 4:00 Am The Next Morning, Rode Back To Alcoa.
