A new (to me at least) source for used k1200 parts noted in this month's BMWMOA mag. Sure enough, I found a lower trunk case with good lock and key for a very good price. Paypaled him stat. I was getting tired of the bungystrap holddowns and was about to make the $700 plunge on a new one from BMW. He seems to have a ton of stuff well indexed. He is also looking for bikes to part out.

I've only had one encounter with beemerboneyard.com - got nothing but good to say 'bout my experience with 'em.
Was looking for a VERY specific and unusual setup for some R&D stuff. He didn't have it at the time, but emailed me when he did and I got it. Very helpful

Just checked it out. Great source! Surprised to see a 2004 engine assembly with 7,000 miles on it for $900! That is a GREAT price!

The owner of Beemer Boneyard is a member in the Skylands NJ BMW Riders club to which I am a member. Having just joined a few months ago, I don't know everyone yet, but at the last meeting some of the members who know the owner said he is a great guy and very reliable with good deals on quality, tested parts. He's local for me which is also a bonus!

Nice folks. I met them on my way home from the 2004 MOA in Spokane. He stoped while I was having coffee and asked if I was ok and that he had enough parts in his trailer to fix just about anything on my RT at the time.
