LT weight distribution

Hi all,

1) Is there a website that I can go to that would tell what the weight distribution is on front Vs rear tire? I.e. 50/50, 60/40

1a) Was there any significant change from 99 - 04?

2) Does anybody on this forum know?

Just trying to find out so that when I find one and the need arises to haul (a sin I know) vs ride it home. My 5 x 8 trailer is balanced to closely any requires more front end weight to prevent swaying.

I am not sure of the weight distribution but it should be virtually the same from 99-04. Most likely it won't be much different on the newer ones either but with the hydraulic stand they are likely a little different.

The center stand feet will be close to the center of gravity front to rear on a bike with no load. If you can easily rock it back and forth on the center stand then that's the weight center. Falls just under the aft most part of the drivers footpegs on an '05 with full fuel.

The more you load the bike the more the CG moves aft.
