I just got home from the dealer show in cinci, I talked to metzeler about the rumor of the bias ply me880 for our Lt , he siad and I am pretty much quoting him, he knows what is going on about 4 years in advance and does not know anything baout them discontinuing the ME880 bias ply for our LT, I also asked him about air pressures./ he said the me 880 is designed to run at the max tire presssure on the sidewall NOT below, it is designed that way to bring it up to p-roper running temps and not get higher than proper running temps with the different materials they use i9n them, I also0 told him how much I run my over the max air, he said no problem at all can be expected from doing that and that is probably why I am getting decent mileage out of them the way I ride and why I don't have the feathering problems others mention.

low air pressure on the ME880 is a NO NO

just thought I would let you all know what Metzeler told me that I already knew <g>
