Single Wheel Trailer Canadian Made

Does any one know of the company that makes a single wheel trailer in Quebec Canada, he uses asnow board car topper.

I have seen two units one that was home built and the manufactures unit both units the riders had nothing but good to say about them.

It is low and fairly long with the wheel in the middle of the topper, unit is realy light and still holds a lot.

You may be thinking about the Monogo - google it - el cheapo and not worthy of the LT IMHO. I would be embarassed to have that behind my bike.

I agree that it looks interesting and the smaller 150 liter model is similar in size to the (140 liter) Uni-Go: 1.32m vs 1.35m length, 0.58m vs 0.54m width and 0.82m vs 0.80m height. Weight is considerably more at 106 lbs vs Uni-Go weight of only 70 lbs. But have you seen the load capacity ('Charge utile')? 20 kg?! That's only 44 lbs vs 110 lbs for the Uni-Go. Even the monster 260 liter model only has a load capacity of 66 lbs. So it looks like you're limited to packing bulky but light items, such as sleeping bags.

I can't help but wonder if they list that weight for licensing/regulatory/tire/lliability reasons. At only 66 lbs. it is pretty useless for me. (typical American - gotta go BIG) ....but with the weight carried between the axles it might make sense since your tongue weight is going to be 1/2 the load.

Is this it? http://www.monogo.com I believe that is the unit that Bruce was originally referring to. I could've bought one super-cheap, but decided against it. For all the reasons/concerns that Ron has already mentioned.

Thay need a few more things added to realy mak it street usable as the lic. plate has no light and there are no side markers to start, it also needs a little work to stiffen the unit up to my thinking.

To store it you just tip it up on end, so it takes almost no room.
