Hi everyone!

I just signed a three year contract to work in Puerto Rico. That should make Emily and I the only attendee's from any of the islands.

I am not sure what I will do with the bike. For now I will store it at my in-laws near Fayetteville, GA. We will fly to Atlanta for CCR and either ship the bike to PR after that, or sell it and buy a smaller bike to use on the island.

Has any one of you ever heard of any K1200LT's on Puerto Rico? There are some nice mountain roads...but one can only go so far on an island.

We are looking forward to see old friends and meet new ones!

Hey Wolfgang - great to hear from you and Emily. Lookin' forward to seeing you'all in GA next August.

Puerto Rico huh?? Scout out the island and see where the best place for an RTE is, will ya??!!! ;) ;)

BTW - if you wanna leave your LT with a TXican whilst y'all bum around Puerto Rico on a different scooter, I got just the place!! Then you'll already have sumpthin' to ride when you vacation back here. Grif'll keep her clean by finding a rainstorm to run thru --- Edgar'll keep her mileage up by running a Border to Border or sumpthin' --- Hank can keep her tuned up and ready to go anytime --- and we'll all pitch in on adding the latest farkle ideas from Ari, the Freakin' Farkle Finn!!! Yeah, that's the ticket!!! :D

Seriously, Wolfgang - I've talked with several folks who've vacationed in P.R. and really liked it. Yeah, the good roads are somewhat abbreviated in length, butt the scenery is fantastic they say, and the folks are friendly, and you'll see the occasional vintage/classic car being used for everyday transportation - that'll puzzle ya!!!

Which reminds me - you gonna be in the same line of work there? Just wondering what the market will be like in P.R., if you're still with the Group??

Take care, Wolfgang - say "Hi, Emily" for me.

Thanks for the offer! It is one to seriously consider :) And yes, I will be in the same line of work... after all, thats all I know :)
I have signed on with a company that handles BMW in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Business has grown like crazy and service has not kept up with sales. So I have my work cut out. I was planning on lobbying for a CCR in the central mountain range of Puerto Rico. Nice and cool and great roads. The only challange is to arrange for an airlift to get all the bikes there :)

Looking forward to see you and all the other old (or is it aging?? :) ) friends.

Greetings from Emily too!
