I just learned that Pete Peterson, Jacksonville, NC passed away. He had 600+ posts on this site and could be recognized by the large smiley face in his signature. He was retired from USMC.

I never had much dialogue with Pete but I got many a chuckle out of his comments
as we disliked some of the same things and the same people on this forum
I didn't always agree with him but I liked his no nonsense attitude,
he said what he believed and didn't take any crap, ever.
I respect that! It's been good knowing you Pete, RIP
