Sad news

Hello, everyone:

It has been quite a while since I last posted here, but I have been keeping up with the forum as much as possible as a "lurker." This evening I received the sad news that my friend and member of this forum, NascaLT, lost his battle with cancer last week. I had the pleasure of knowing Sam only a short time, as one of the few LT riders in South Florida, but in that time I came to know how kind and wise he was. He had a way of seeing the good in everyone and he was a joy to be around. I'm certain heaven is a happier place now that he is there. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Ah, Joe, sad news it is. God Bless Sam. I am a 7 1/2 year survivor of lung cancer and am blessed to still be on this earth. Anytime I hear of the passing of one of my "cancer buddies" I go forth with lots of prayers. God Bless you and God Bless Sam.

Sad news indeed. It is always always a sad news for me to hear about the death of a fellow rider whether it is an accident or illness. My thoughts to his family.

... may you rest in God's loving, tender mercies..
... may your family know this is a separation...not "forever farewell".
... being loved makes this harder ... but, it's worth it.
