Some interesting things I've found in the last year about tire warranties.

My front Avon 45 some how got cut from the center to the side. I sent photos to Avon who got back with me. I told them I do my own tires as my local dealer isn't too- well- I do my own tires.

He said he'd cover it under road hazzard warranty. They sent me a new tire- including shipping and didn't ask for the old tire back. NICE PEOPLE!!!

My rear tire, a Bridgeston 020 Radial has failed. I contacted BS and they said to take to a dealer for warranty claim. My dealer won't do it as I didn't get the tire from him and I mount my own. Bridgstone said they do not have Road Hazzard warranty. So far, no response from BS on how to take care of it.

So, Thumbs up for AVON!!

I get tires from SW Mototire and the price is right, and the local dealer wants $100 to mount 2 plus $$$ for the tires. I think they wanted $450 for RT set. However, Bridgestone doesn't seem to be able to deal with people who do their own tires.

I use this infamous line...

"Ok, If that's the way you want it I'll just call my ATTORNEY, he LOVES dealing with people like you. !!!!"

Sometimes helps...
