Hi all

For anyone who has traveled across Canada on a BMW, you will have no doubt noticed that Saskatchewan does not have a BMW motorcycle dealer. The closest dealers are Wildwood in Winnipeg 580 kms, Blackfoot in Calgary 780 km and Argyll motors in Edmonton 800 km. That's a fairly long stretch.

I know that bad things sometimes happen when you are on the road and I can offer some help. I've got a fairly large set of tools, a slightly used rear tire for a K1200LT, and in the event of a real problem, a trailer designed for hauling bikes.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw the offer of assistance up to members of this forum if you are heading through the province. If you are planning a tour this way and want someone to lend a hand, send me an email and I'll drop you my address and contact information.

Hey Garry

Might just take you up on that. I've got a ton of vacation time to burn off. I'll discuss with the boss and get back to you. What route were you planning?

Going to go by Chicago to stop at a friends NW of Chicago. Then catch 80 all the way across to Ola. Take 93s - 6s - 318s to Vegas. From Vegas we will be going 93e - 40 to Grand Canyon then home somehow. Not sure if we will head to CCR yet. You could take 85s fro Sask. and meet up with us in Cheyenne. We are looking forward to the trip. Bought a trailer this winter and building a hitch for it now.
