Just thought we might get together for some riding - realizing now how much faster into and out of the turns I can now go. We don't want to go on a ride and have to wait on the two-wheelers, and we don't like to ride alone in a strange place. Bruce and Laura, Mamou, La. '99 k1200ltc- now an '06 Hannigan trike.

We don't want to go on a ride and have to wait on the two-wheelers...Kinda hoping you'd see how silly that sounded if you read it a second time. The only thing more fun than passing a trike is passing several of them!!! :D

...and passing them all at once too. Seriously, I'm hoping that this shoulder will re-hab and I won't have to trike it anytime soon, but the next best thing to two wheels is three (in my own mind anyway).

That would be a new experience. On our club rides we (trikers) are told to wait up on the two wheelers. Don't bet against a three wheeler in all but the very tightest curves. As for as an unknown highway I definitely don't mind going in much faster than I would on two. Perhaps it is a security issue having three wheels and not having to worry so much about tar snakes or gravel on the surface, or having to quickly change a poor line out of the curve, or maybe it was that I wan't that experienced or that brave (or foolish) on two, but the people at Hannigan have some favorite 25 mph curves that they don't dare negotiate as fast on two than they do on three? Go figure!
A trike is a great cross between a motorcycle and an extremely tight sport's car - most unique!

Here's a picture of the front of the bike that'll be passing you. (Take a close look...you won't be seeing it in your mirrors for very long! :D )

(Although...
racing a trike against my ZX-11 is kinda like them bringing a knife to a gun fight. http://www.bigbikeworld.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif )

Oh yeah, well here's a picture of one of the bikes you'll be passing.
Not that the bike won't corner once the bags are off, I just won't be trying.

Let's see, your black Ninja and his M&M yellow ride ought to make one heck of a combination. Look out! Here come the Bumblebee Brothers!

Sheesh, next thing you know someone will want to paint an LT black & yellow. Or John Deere green. Or even flames. Where will it all end? http://users.pandora.be/eforum/emoticons4u/sad/533.gif

Yes. But around Jackson Hole...one could hardly call that "riding". We won't let that happen this year. We'll do the Dragon together...or perhaps the Cherohala Skyway. That should be fun. ;) You're welcome to come too.

When you get big you will be able to ride a full size adult bike - and even have a comfortable seat to bring a young lady along with you. Among adult bike riders the trikes go through the corners faster. Old man Rozas

I dunno, last (and only) time I did the Dragon was on Barbara. Might be a bit awkward. :D
