Monday you are on your own, CCR starts Tuesday and the opening reception usually has heavy Poo Poos to eat. Wednesday is dining with the Bears at Bear Country (it is hard to tell if dinner is included, but usually Wed is on your own).

Thursday will be a sit down and the big banquet on Friday has never dissappointed me. For the remaining meals there are eateries at the hotel and nearby.

There will be food at Bear Country on Wednesday night. I can't recall if it's included or an extra charge, though.

If you look at the size of a number of the folks who are and have been for years, very active in the planning and execution of these events, I think you'll see that good food and lots of it are always important to us.

No breakfasts or lunches are included.

The Newbie Breakfast Wednesday morning is not included in the event registration, but is usually a pretty good full breakfast for less than you'd probably pay for it in the hotel restaurant.

Tuesday evening reception is not meant to feed you dinner that evening, but as mentioned, it usually includes pretty good horse derves.

Wednesday evening is normally on your own, and it seems still to be unclear if the food at the bear country is included or not, but it will be your typical 'park food' in any event.

Thursday dinner is included and it will be a full dinner - might have to fill your plate and then choose a table, but it will be good.

Friday closing banquet is included in the cost and will be a full race, seated, catered banquet dinner that will not disappoint you.

My advice to a newbie -- Bring one size larger jeans or mesh gear for the ride home.

There will be a reception Tuesday evening with a cash bar. Reception food is included in the registration. This is not a substitute for dinner - for dinner you are on your own. Minerva at Ramkota has very good food and there is a Boston's Gourmet Pizza, Outback Steakhouse and Friday's just out the front door of the hotel.

Wednesday, you are normally on your own, but we are including the Bear Country and Crazy Horse in the Registration. There will be a catered dinner at Bear Country. The only reason it is not clear on the schedule of events is that the menu is not set yet. We are still working out a couple of details with the caterer. You can get in the park after 3:30pm and visit the animals or hang around the baby bear area. We will be parking the bikes around that area. Dinner will begin at around 5:30pm, we'll have some entertainment at around 6:30pm. We will leave Bear Country between 7:15 and 7:30 and make the ride of about 22 miles to Crazy Horse for their closing Laser show beginning at 8:15pm. We will have VIP parking at Crazy Horse The admission to Crazy Horse is also included in the registration fee.

Thursday's Dinner and entertainment is included in the registration. There will be a Cash Bar.

Friday's closing Banquet is included in the registration. There will be a cash bar.

Wednesday's get acquainted breakfast is an extra charge of only $10.00 and highly recommended. Tickets for that are still available until Wednesday August 26.

The rest of the days we expect you will be out riding during the day so you are on your own for breakfast and lunch. Minerva's at the hotel will have a buffet breakfast or you can order off the menu. There are great places for lunch throughout the Black Hills.

I will endeavor to update the schedule of events over the next day or so to make the Wednesday evening events a little more clear.
