Simple question on "tire" mileage you get "Typically" from your LT..
** Keep anwser short ** Brand of tire unimportant **
#1 .. One up or 2 mostly
#2 .. Bias ply or radials
#3 .. mileage (aprox)
#4 .. open roads or twisties mostly
#5 .. Road surface quality you ride most

My ride:
2 up, 90% of the time.
Bias @ 9000 miles
Radials @ 5000 miles
Twisties
Chip seal & blacktop, very rough texture overall

#1 .. One up 65% Two up 35%
#2 .. Bias 880's
#3 .. 10,000 on rear, front still good at 11,000
#4 .. 60% open road 40% twisties
#5 .. Good roads, asphalt paved, some comcrete in southern Penn.

2. Bias 880's
3. Currently 12,500 on both front and rear, rear a couple thousand more, front several thousand more. Maintain factory pressures.
4. Open road predominantly.
5. Excellent road, primarily high speed interstate, and asphalt country roads.

Also, I had AV45ST on front when at 7000 it split in a strange way. Avon is replacing. B020 on back with 8000+ and looks good. Really like this combo.
Now have B020 front and rear. Seems to stear fast and for the moment, handles well.

3 Rear 11k, front 7.5k, new ft on the way w 7k on this one
4 40% open road 60% twisities (I live in em, such a curse)
5 Tar & Gravel country roads, some smoother asphalt

3.13,000 so far and a good amount of tread left
4. Open Roads (Not to many Twisties in michigan)
5.Crummy roads (After all..it is Michigan)

#3. 13,000 on both F/R. Rears need replaced soon.
#4. Wisconsin twisites 40% and open road 60%.
#5. asphalt, concrete, and some gravel covered WI roads.

Not a fair question, Scott. I have to ride slower two-up :rolleyes:
I ride the LT:
2 up, 80% of the time.

@ 6000 miles
Twisties (mostly in the Sierra Nevadas)

3. Front 14,700 miles
4. Rear 9,500 miles had a small nail in it could have gotten another 2,000 mile.

#3.. Rear 22,400 just changed / front 22,400 still using has lots of tread left
#4.. 70% super slab, 15% rural highways, 10% city streets, 5% twisties
#5.. Mostly concrete, some asphalt, 2% gravel
I don't do anything special. It's hard to believe I got so much better mileage out of my tires. I changed out my first set of ME880s at 18,000 because I was going on a Four Corner USA trip. I'm planning to put those tires back on because they still have 1/2 their tread.

This is my first LT and first set of tires...the rear was still O.K. but had a big nail
