Well, it seems that pre-registrations are off this year for the Daniel Boone Rally in Boone, NC this weekend. I guess many people are keeping their powder dry.
But, if you get a wild hair and want to go somewhere for an inexpensive weekend, why not get on your bike and boogie over here? We would enjoy seeing you.
The weather will be fantastic with sunny skies and daily highs in the low to mid 70's. There are a bunch of great rides in the area and you will be within several miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Boone is in the NC Mountains and is a college town (App State). Great food, inexpensive hotels if you don't want to camp with us and lots to do.
