Hey, David - we usually settle on a location during the World Kkaafffeee Hqtrs gig on Friday morning. Soon as it's agreed on, someone will get on here tamale and post it.

Not that it matters much, but the wx gurus are calling for another round of rain tamale - we got some high winds (neighbor lost a 30' tree this afternoon!) today and an inch and a quarter of the wet stuff in places around. So, brung your wet gear and we hope you have to wear it!!! Ride safe.

Thanks Dick! That's what I was hoping for. Been watching the weather too, think what y'all had today was a "cool" front that'll hopefully be through by then. Really would like to see the wind settle a bit though  Thanks!

Damn good lookin' scoot, David. Yours gonna be what color???

Say, lissen. Can you do breakfast on Sunday instead of Saturday? Sunday is when most of us get together and away from the weekend chores of Saturday. We have a cafe here in Boerne that has excellent eats (for Boerne!! albeit a leetle bit pricey against the fast food chains!).

Got Dave and Kathy as 'for sures' (he rides an Orange Tiger), and Woody and Karen are definite probables (either an LT or HD sumpthin'). Possibles are Edgar Tanner (LT or truck, and maybe Deb), and Russ & Cathy (one of several scoots, or maybe a Scion), and Monte (MP3).

Anyway - hoping Sunday will work for ya?

I'll confirm the address and post it in a bit. Restaurant is named "L'il Gretel" and it's on River Road (Hwy 46) coming in to Boerne from the east - right side of the road. Big sign out front and if you miss the turn in to the lot, make a right at the next corner and then another right into an easy hard-pack lot and go to the paved lot.

Hey, Watts (FJR rider) - good deal. You prolly know where it is.

Butt for those who've not been there, the address is:

518 River Rd (Hwy 46) in Boerne. L'il Gretel.

830-331.1368

My cell 210-416.0306

On the opposite side of River Road from the town creek. Dang near dry from the drought and NOT running over the dam, which is viewable from the restaurant.

Should add my name to the list, and I'll be in ole Thundra. Doc sez can't ride a two-wheeler after eye surgery coupla days ago. :(

Seating at +/-0900--- shout if you're running real late.

EDIT - their hours have changed and they open at 0900!! Breakfast all day. I'll do a head count Saturday and make reservations for Sunday - at their suggestion!!

See everyone there - ride safe.

Yup, thought that might interfere with some church schedules. Don't know why the restaurant doesn't wanna grab folks 'before' church, butt I guess, since they do breakfast all day long, they figger on gettin' a crowd after services??

Raining????? WTF is that??

100+ degree days and rain? Nope --- don't mix. So Al Gore and gang gives us 'warming'!!!!

Hey, Kinsey - wuz lookin' forward to your new scoot, before it goes under the spray gun!!! Guess you'll take a before/after pic for us tho, huh??

Hey, Stevie - you doin' breakfast here before church off Bulverde Road?? L'il Gretel is only 35 minutes from the church.

All who are breakfasting - ride major safe. See ya at 0900. BTW, almost all parking slots are uphill slanted, but if you want level, there is public parking on River Road out front of the restaurant, between the white stripe and the curb. No white stripe - no parking.

Hey, Gina - next time you see D.Kinsey, tell him breakfast wuz fantastic!! I had a Yogurt Parfait (pleasing the Doc cuz he snuck a peek at my blood pressure and weight numbers, and then told Cheryl!! Dammit!), and Woody had a fruit Kolache for similar reasons. The rest of the gang ate regular food!! Good service --- great company. And everybody checked out the "Extreme Room for Men"!!!

Monte - Piaggio MP3
Bert - GW1800
Woody and lovely wife - LT
Bo and lovely wife -GS
Moi - ole Thundra

Nice surprise to see Bo and SO ride in on their nicely equipped GS. :)

Wolfgang (MB of some sort) gave me a curtesy call just before breakfast - had overslept and will take a raincheck for the next one. Thanks for the call, Wolfgang. ;)

Dave and Kathy Moore (Triumph Tiger) messaged that they had church services. :)

Mike Watts (FJR) wuz a no-show.

Man, it's hard to ride an FJR in your sleep!!! That'd be my guess why he bailed.

Of course, he does play poker on Thursday nights just down the road from me, so he may have had to play Saturday night to make up losses --- so Sunday got toasted!!! :) ;) C'mon Watts - what's the deal (pun!!)?

Sorry about that, you're right, out all night playing cards...crawled in about 6:00am, didn't see daylight until 3:00pm...
