Larry from www.Riderwest.com (http://www.riderwest.com/) has done it again. He know has LED trunk light strips that can be used as running lights and turnsignals.

These will be available at CCR (and later online): Trunk mounted LED Taillights and Turn Signals (see photo). This is not a full kit (with connectors and instructions) like what Rider West typically provides—this package just includes three self-adhesive LED strips (one 48” red and two 12” amber) that you stick on to your trunk and wire to your tail lights and turn signals. Larry will be at CCR with free advice on how to wire it in. His bike will be there also displaying all his light kits as he did last year.

Pricing will be around $40.00

Raffy, that Schumer guy always amazes me with his farklelites! Albeit primarily tuned for the LT scoots, I'm sure some adventurous sole will find a way to adapt 'em to one or another of the BMW models.

I really like the tip-over bumper guards that have a strip of LED inserts that ole Toad sports around. Larry came up with those a year or so ago, and ole Toad's are still goin' strong. Do you still vend those kits on your webstore??

Yes but instead of drilling multiple holes, we know have a strip with adhesive backing. Just apply, route the wires and voila. Much easier install.

Forgot:

Since they are not LT specific kits but just strips, they can be mounted on other bikes or ??

Hi Raffy,

Does it still fit if you have the grab rail on the trunk like the newer models?

By the way

Try Sarkis for the best baklava when in LA area

Edited: Larry says yes.

BTW, I bought a can of yalanchi dolma made in Turkey and it was as close to what my grandma used to make by hand.

As for baklava, I miss my mom's. She has retired from cooking due to Alzheimer's and I don't get the real home cooking anymore.

I'll try Sarkis' when I'm down visiting.

Hi guys,

I just looked at my buddy's 2005 LT and the area where I mounted the LED strips is exactly the same, so there will be no problem mounting the taillight and turn signal LED strips on 2005 and newer bikes.

Thanks Larry.
