Has anyone signed up for track laps at Bristol Speedway during the MOA Rally?

I signed up but bailed when they e-mailed and said there would be a pace car. I knew there had to be some speed limitation, but the prospect of following a pace car in an oval at (maybe) 50 mph didn't appeal to me. The dragon's tail and the snake were a lot of fun however.

There were no speed limitations except for the slowest bike in your group of 10 bikes. No passing allowed. The pace car driver said he would go as fast as we could keep up with. We were not restricted as far as track position goes which meant the 36 deg banks were open  (Steepest in Nascar) He set a good pace and continually increased speed until we hit lapped traffic. I had a FJR and a S bike in front of me. The FJR was first and he met the pace but the S bike rider could not match which slowed me and my buddy down. I know we were at 90 MPH and I was slingshotting up to the debris next to the wall so I could go a little faster and not pass the S bike. I had a blast and it was $25 for a children's charity. My only regret is giving the sportbike riders too much credit and not jumping out front. I've ridden the Dragon and it was fun but I'm also glad I had the opportunity to tick this box off in my life experiences. :yeah:
