Source for Metzeler ME 880 Marathon tires?

I am looking for an internet source for Metzeler ME 880 Marathon tires (Front Tire: 120/70 B17 M/C 58V TL & Rear Tire: 160/70 B17 M/C 79V) to fit a K1200LT. Who, with a good reputation, is selling tires for the K12LT at a decent price?

I did do a search here, but didn’t have much luck. If I missed it, kindly advise me accordingly.

I have found that Southwest Moto Tires is as good as any place to purchase tires. I have purchased Metzeler's ME880 from them as will as Bridgestones BT020. I prefer the Metzeler's. I purchased my last Metzeler's in June of 2005. The price then was $204.00 for the pair with no shipping if you order both tires.

Are these the correct tires for my LT?

Metzeler ME880 120/70VB-17 Front
Metzeler ME880 160/70VB-17 Rear

They don't have just a "B" (bias ply) designation on their website.

I've bought several sets from them and they always have them in stock and ship very quickly. Prices are about the best, too. The only minor problem I had was when I ordered three tires and they only shipped two. I called, they acknowledged their mistake, and sent the other tire out immediately and without charge. I'm happy with that kind of a response.

In comparison, I ordered a set of BT020 Bias tires from Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse (http://www.accwhse.com/) and was extremely unhappy. I was told the tires were in stock but when I called 10 days later they said they would be shipping in a couple of days. Since I had a 2,600 mile ride planned that weekend and they couldn't even give me a tracking number, I ended up riding several hundred miles to two different dealers just to get tires that would fit, at typical dealer high prices. I managed to make my ride, but it ended up costing a bunch more than I wanted and wasted a bunch of my time, not to mention almost ruining my planned ride. The best MAW would do is a weak apology and a refund of the $11 shipping charges, only after I told them to cancel the order. I'll never order from them again.

I don't know about that. I ordered mine at 3:30pm on a Wednesday and it took them until 11:30am the next day. But since it was free shipping I didn't get to upset. :D

I placed an order yesterday at 10:22 AM, for Metzelers ME880 160/70VB-17 rear and a 120/70VB-17 front. I received an email this morning from Federal Express that they picked them up yesterday afternoon and would be delivered them Monday morning. If I would have ordered them on Tuesday I would have them on Friday. The cost was 218.90 for the pair with no shipping.

I was just checking other tire suppliers and found www.americanmototire.com/. As I had just quoted in my last thread I paid 218.90 for a pair of ME880 at Southwest Moto Tires. At this place they were $25.00 less with no shipping charge. I have never purchased tire from them.
