Now if you can just come up with the correct cable for me to connect it to my BMW branded J&M com system on my 03LT, I'd buy the radio, the cable and the stubby antenna!

Cable is the only thing holding me back.

Iknow. I have no idea how long J&M is bound by their original contract with BMW not to sell parts to the public directly regarding BMW CommSystem parts.

I wish they would make the cable again and sell directly to the public.

OTOH, the schematics on how to build a cable have been posted before.

Is your J&M a BC2 or 3 with the six-pin connector in the center? If so, I found an extra homemade cable that should work.

Hi Bob,

I think we were talking about this in early May. Guess you found it. Great! If you're willing to part with it I'll take it!

Sending you a PM. I have what I think is the (J&M) BC3. Supplied with the LTE in 2003 with the single CD player. Has a switch to go from CB to FRS and an input on it that appears to be like an old computer mouse connection.

Suprised that J&M would be willing to do a com system again with BMW. Think they were pretty ticked off with them last time for BMW going to the VOICE system and abandoning the system that they developed for them.

Last chance for ICOM F21GM radios and parts. A new radio will be out soon and parts will not interchange.

If you need an extra battery, spare stubby antenna, charger etc, get them while they last.
