Disable Anti-theft alarm system?

Is there a way to disable the Anti-theft alarm system for a 2005 K1200LT?

I just purchased a used 2005 K1200 LT and would like to disable or shut off the alarm system so I don't have to carry the alarm fob with me. I can see there are ways to program the system for different types of alerts and reminders. I would just like to eliminate the system and not have to be concerned about the technology leaving me with no start.

I would like to just insert the key and ride.

I know there were different variations of the alarm system installed installed so this may not work. My '02 has a A, B and a C mode. B mode requires that I manually arm the system with the remote.

You can follow these procedures and set the "immobilizer" to "off" and never need the FOB again. I do like it for the locking feature on the 05 and up on the saddle bags and top case.
