can anyone give me a review on the
Cee Bailey pannier liner bags compared
to the BMW ones? 2 of them are a lot
cheaper than 1 of the BMWs. good enough
quality and fit? thanks......

I've had mine 5 or 6 years. Still look like new.

I have the BMW bags and like them. I was able to get a set from an ebay seller which made them comparable in price to the other manufacturers of new bags for the LT.

The BMW bags are made of a stiffer thicker material which pretty much retains its shape. The Cee Bailey's (and Kathy's) liners are made of a sturdy cloth, and the bags get their shape from what's packed inside of them. All have interior and exterior pockets for documents, maps, etc., and all conform nicely to the interior shapes of the cases themselves. I'd say the two basic styles are equally functional and durable and that there's not much point in spending the extra $$ for the BMW ones - unless you prefer to have only genuine BMW items.

I have RKA liners for the panniers and the top case. They were reasonably priced, are durable and functional. Not alot of extra pockets (each bag has one exterior zipper pocket) but I don't really need more than that. The pannier liners hold their shape pretty well on their own when empty. The top case liner is a bit floppy due to it's size. Overall, I'm very happy with them.

I have the Cee Bailies for the side cases. The main feature for me is that they open on two sides. That is you can open the sidecase and let the bag rest on the outside lid. Use the zipper and get your stuff.
Or you can leave the bag upright and get into the bag from the other side.

I choose the RKA for the top case, but I can't remember why now.

I am pleased with both liners.

Looks like you may not get a direct user comparison...
Having said that, I have the BMW liners for both top cases and both side cases. I really love them. I appreciate the firmness of them. If your stuff fits into the liner, it will fit into the case.
I highly recommend them, and I thank the previous owner for including them in the sale of the bike to me.

It came down to function more than price for me. The RKA and BMW liners are stiff and make it harder to stuff small items in the pannier without them on the inside of the liner. The Cee Bailys won over Kathy's due to the zippers on both sides. The Cee Bailys are very nice IMO and it's a plus that they are also reasonably priced.
