I'm riding the LT to Chicago in a few weeks & will be staying downtown. Am looking for a hotel with a safe parking spot for bikes. Would like to find a hotel near the financial district CME etc. if at all possible.

Any suggestions?

I've stayed in downtown Chicago a few times and rode my LT. The Hilton on Michigan Ave & Balbo allow Bike parking in their garage. The Best Western a few Blocks away does not. There are a lot of Hotels Downtown, it's best to call them first and ask if you can park a bike in their garage. Chicago is a great place to visit have a good time.

03 LTEWill offers good advice. Call ahead and inquire. Parking at some of the hotels in the downtown area requires driving up steep helical ramps. I would not park in any off the city parking lots. Also parking can be very expensive, e.g., $30 + a day.

I didn't know about the bike parking at the Hilton Towers (Michigan Ave across from Grant Park)! The hotel is great, not sure how much parking is. I would call the property for details.

You can get great pizza one block over on Wabash called Giordano's!

Have a great trip.

Thanks guys. Have stayed downtown Chi. a number of times, just never with a bike.

The W has parking included, but it is valet only & won't let me park my own bike. Palmer House Hilton said they would, though.
