My Bell Vector radar detector bit the bullet. Worked really well.
Found a great deal on the 8500 on ebay. Factory refurbished with full warranty for $149.95. Escort had come out with a newer model that has GPS, & is offering a tradein for former owners of the 8500's is the reason why they have these. Top rated by radartest.com b4 the gps ones came out. Was a cheap fix for me :D
