Don't remember the specific models we were getting a few years ago ?

* But Front had adjustable rebound damping using a wheel collar at lower mount eye.

* Rear the same rebound adjustment along with a hydrolic preload adjuster for spring preload. The Remote reservoir option is NOT needed on LT applications.

Had Wilbers on the 2K LT now for @ 30K miles ... best damn investment made too date. Love these shocks !!

I put a set on my 05 LT about 1500 miles ago. I love them. When ordering, be prepared to answer questions on your weight, solo and two up, include gear, helmet, jacket, cargo, etc. Also, what % of time do you ride solo or Two up. Try to avoid ordering during a European holiday, like I did. Took 6 weeks instead of the normal 2 weeks. I did not order the adjustable front shock and I am a happy camper.

Ok this brings up a question. More opinions on adjustable front shock please. I'm old and slow so my thoughts were to not get the front adjustable, but would like some addition input.

Bill,
I just did not see any advantage to paying more for the adjustable front shock, as I did not miss having one when I was stock. I do some spirited riding in the NC mountains on the Beast, but it is not a sport bike, no matter what some people say here. And putting high performance shocks on it will not make it a sport bike, but it will sure handle much better.
I suggest you save the $$$ and get the non-adjustable front shock. You will be happy, believe me. BTW, I always tell people you can not play golf with only one club. Sooooo, it stands to reason to play with motorcycles, you need more than one. You want to ride sporty, buy one for that type of riding. Save the LT for touring.

You could NOT be more wrong,
Having adjustable rebound damping that BTW also effects the compression damping firmness has a MAJOR effect on plushness or firmness with just a few clicks either side of your preferred sweet spot. Having paid BIG Bucks for after market shocks and then getting a fixed damping value shock because your trying to save a few more dollars is just not very smart IMO.
