Has anyone heard anything about the 13th BMW Motorcycle Convention in Tampico?

Are you still planning to go there again after getting so many tickets on your triked 05 LT last year? or Am I confusing with somebody else?

My anger with the small town cops has subsides somewhat. Last year I put 3000 miles on the clock in Mexico and got stopped 3 times. That doesn't diminish the joy of the Mexican Rally itself. Tampico is a lot shorter ride. I have not convinced myself it is worth the problems including the drug war problems. One way to get around the local police problem would be to hire a Tampico motorcycle cop to escort me down and then back to the rally. Most riders don't like to travel with me as I tend to go too slow for them on my Trike. Speeding is not my problem.

Any way, I have several months to decide.
