I've decided to get an xm radio. The only question is which one? I went to Best Buy yesterday to look at the models and was impressed with the Roady XT. However, I like the idea of being able to store music in the xm for use indoors or when I go to Canada which I do often. In that case, the Delphi MyFi looks to be more suitable for me.

Does anyone have an opinion of the MyFi or the Roady XT. I would appreciate the input because if I buy one, I would like it to be the right unit the first time out.

Thanks,

I hvae had several different XM radios in the lt several years. I currently use the MyFI and love the fact that you can store music on it for play back later. I use this feature while flying for business. I just bought the Garmin 376C for the LT and the truck. Works great. The MiFI comes with everything you need to play it at home or in the car or hiking. I also like the added features like the scrolling sports score or stock ticker. Neat feature to keep on top of yor favorite team or rival. The MyFI worked great on the bike with the portable antenna. I never mounted the Xm to the bike, I would just put it in the tank bag. It was pain to change stations but I listen to only a few so it was not terrible.

FYI, XM works fine in Canada. Was listening to the Texas Rangers all the way up to Whitehorse. Above that the sats are too low on the horizon.

I have the MyFi and use it on the bike and for home use. It is kind of bulky, but I like being able to store songs. I like it, no problems yet. I attached the MyFi remote to a cord to use so that I do not drop it....probably not the safest thing to be playing with while riding!! I like being able to store music and then have it available in the cabin or hotel....on the "thumping" clock radio!!

I had the Roady II previously, it worked well also....

I never mounted the Xm to the bike, I would just put it in the tank bag. It was pain to change stations but I listen to only a few so it was not terrible. Mine sits in the map window of the tankbag so when I want to change stations I just reach down and press one of the ten presets.
